Hi,
I have recently applied to switch from Virgin Media to Sky Broadband. During the application process, I was not asked to specify my preferred activation date. My current Virgin Media contract ends on 13th March, but I have received an email stating that my Sky Broadband service activation date is scheduled for 13th February.
This overlap will result in early termination charges from Virgin Media. Could you please assist me in changing the Sky Broadband activation date to align with the end of my current Virgin Media contract on 13th March?
Thank you for your help, and I look forward to your reply.
Thanks
Chun

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@MrDing you are not talking to Sky by posting in thecforum.
However it should be possible to get the activation put back but unless you have a proven working Openreach line it is wise to have an over lap as there can be delays installing new lines. Where properties have been with Virgin for sometime the Virgin engineers "helpfully" haveremoved the Openreach connection which iften only comes to light when the activation fails.
