Replacing Sky Q router with something better

Hi all,

We have recently moved to a much bigger house and have had three visits from Sky in 9 months to try and get decent coverage throughout the house.  We currently have Sky Gigafast Broadband so should have great speeds, but we struggle to get more than 20mbs in some rooms and none at all in others.

I am therefore thinking of ditching the Sky kit and going for something better.  Could anyone please make a recomendation for a new Sky compatible router, plus a mesh system to send it around the house?

Many thanks in advance...

Sorry, I should mention that we also have three Sky Q mini boxes, so whatever system we replace Sky with needs to be compatible with these as well please.

I would note that Gigafast & Sky Q are not a good combination, you will never get near the high speeds of Gigafast with Sky Q because its mesh is old tech and wasnt designed for those speeds.

I would also assume that you have the SR203 router, not the Sky Q hub as that isnt compatible with Sky Gigafast.

As for your options, any mesh system should be compatible with Sky Q as it will just connect like a normal WiFi network. A lot of people do with Asus AI mesh or TP-Link Deco.
