Replace SKY WIFI 6 Router with Gaming router or extender due to poor WIFI range.
Hello I have a room that is probably a combination of these three factors.
Not far but not close to Router
A Metal Fridge /Freezer beside the door leading into it
Built out of idk Space metal because the signal gets deleted anywhere near the Room / Fridge
This is the Cinema room and needs a semi Decent connection for that. On the BT router I was on copper and was able to get an inconsistence performance on videos but ultimately there was no out right issues.
I was even able to play online games but it was consistently laggy.
I have tested 5 devices in their and only 2 work with the WIFI
iPhone 16 - (Works)
Macbook pro (Works)
Projector (Nope)
Nvidia Shield (Nope)
Amazon Fire Stick with WIFI 6 (NOOOPE) cant even connect to wifi let alone stream a movie .
I would like to be able to play games aswell so a good connection is the goal.
Any suggestions for a Router with GREAT Range - Space metal beating - Gaming features - and a phone port that works with SKY ?
Any other suggestions for my situation would be greatly appreciated.

No-one has so far identified any way of getting Sky Talk Internet Calls without using either a Sky Broadband Hub or Max Hub.
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

@L1NSEED if y ou have the kind of problems you list I would forget WiFi in that room as to stream video you need a stable data feed which any router or booster is going tostruggle to deliver id there is metal blocking the signal.
Instead investigate powerline networking kits that use the home's mains wiring to carry the data. You can buy the kits with built-in WiFi access points but for streaming and games I would use thecethernet ports on your kit. If you need more ports than the adapter has buy a cheap ethernet switch. When looking at what speed to buy assume the adapters should deliver between 20 to 40% of thecspeed on the box andcalways plug thecasapters into wall outlets dont use trailing adapters.
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode

The Room is an extension and is not on same power breaker /circuit as the Powerline fails to get decent connection. tried with an old TP - LINK 500mbps model

Best option, although usually most difficult to achieve, is to connect whichever router you have via etherner cables to your devices. Is that an option?
