Hi All.
When the Builder was renovating the house before we put it out to the rental markey they destroyed the main phone point.
We dont want to take out a contract as it will be rented out, but is there a way we get the main phone point put back in?
Or is there a way to take out the contract & then transfer it to the new people living there?
all new to this sorry.
Thanks

@PHemns the normal process is for Openreach to re-establish the line as part of an order from a telco like Sky for a broadband service. It is quite routine but can take a whille as often they wont survey the job until the remote activation has failed. Any ISP will want a 24 month contract to take the order so it is better for ghe. New te nant to place the order as you canny transfer a contract.

Re: Rental house with no main phone point
@PHemns I don't know about the first point but as for the second you can't take out a contract in your name then transfer it to the tenants as sky doesn't allow account ownership changes
