After the slow throughput problem was fixed we had another fault. Openreach at last sent out a very good engineer who fixed that problem and we have been very stable since July. We decided to stay with Sky until we can get full fibre, hopefully next year.

@Blossom11 that's good your issues have been resolved. Gigaclear have sent out a community event to our village in Jan so hopefully it won't be too long for me to get off this line.

 

My connection has been better since posting on here, it does seem unfair that if speeds are being throttled that it's not reflected in the sync speeds.
