Red light on the hub when switched on

I received my sky max hub today on 14th feb and connected it to the phone line and power line as instructed to do. But when I turn it on it will show amber light for 1 min and turns red. It's not even changing into white or any other colour. I checked the fixes for this problem and tried that as well but no use. I even unplugged and plugged the connections multiple times. I also connected to the different phone line available in the house but still no luck. Please help me to deal with this issue.

Are you new to Sky or is this a replacement hub ?
