Red alarm light on ONT full fibre socket

Alarm light is solid red on ONT full fibre socket. Installed last Thursday and is constantly solid red light. I have internet but it's a bit choppy with some things slow to load.  Have turned off and on several times but red light remains on...

Any ideas what the alarm light signifies?

@Neil00 there is an issue with the optical signal to the ONT which needs sorting by Openreach so I have escalated your post to I the Sky team who support the forum who should be in touch soon to offer you a private chat session to get this sorted. We have a similar problem.  Alarm light is solid red on ONT full fibre socket. Internet running but dropping from time to time.  Installed approx 3 months ago - alarm light for a couple of weeks.

@Simpleeeee  Have you reported this to Sky so that they can get this fault looked into?
