Reconnection after house renovation

I have been a sky customer for 14 years.

However, recently I have completed some house renovations. As a result;

1. I need the telephone socket to be reinstalled / connected to outside

2. the builders had completely removed the external wire to the Sky dish (which is still on my roof).

I am aware I will need an enginger (s) to help reinstall (Openreach engineer and Sky engineer??) but I am struggling to get this help on the Sky website from using the automated options.

Please can anyone help?

Thanks.

Charlene

@Char2309  You will need to call Sky.

You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.

If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
(UK) https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.

Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Re: Reconnection after house renovation

Ok thanks. I did try calling Sky previously, however I waited for an hour before giving up.
I will try again at another time, as you have suggested.

Thanks for your help.

@Char2309

Note that Sky will almost certainly (and quite reasonably) charge for both reconnections.

Re: Reconnection after house renovation

I am expecting to pay, that is not the issue. The issue is trying to find a way to actually get through to someone at Sky that can assist me. Thanks.

@Char2309

The easiest way will be to call Sky and get yourself in your broadband fault queue. Then when you get through to an advisor just tell them you've had construction work done and your telephone cable has been damaged/removed so you'll need someone to come out and fix it.
