Recent openreach works

Some recent work was undertaken by Openreach at the end of my drive. Since this, my internet has been intermittent, unreliable and keeps dropping out whilst I am in work calls.

@JohnathanB   Please can you post your router stats so the forum can advise on any issues. This link explains how to do that https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Broadband/How-to-find-your-Sky-Broadband-router-stats/td-p/2855717#

Re: Recent openreach works

What if I can't login into the maintenance area. I have tried so many combinations of usernames and passwords. They do not work, are there alternative ways to get this router report?

@JohnathanB

Use a chrome browser and not safari

Type 192.168.0.1 into the address bar of the browser (not the search bar)

Click maintenance and type in

Username         admin

Password          sky or wifi password on the back of the router

At the bottom of the page click show statistics

@Jones2  Just i  case you've not realised but you are only addressing customers who cannot advise you of any fix timescales.

@JohnathanB your dtats show that the hub is synching at 40Mb/s download and has been connected for nearly a week without the connection dropping. Therefore if you are on a 40Mb/s package that looks fine. Not so great if you have a guaranteed speed for your package higher than 40Mb/s.

At a guess I would think the instability is down to poor wifi signal perhaps due to interference. Do you have issues on devicescconnected by ethernet cables? A hub reboot will force the hub to find the least congested wifi channel if that is the problem.
