Is this normal or is something missing?

@Speedytriple that is the normal rather grandly called "conversion kit" which ensbles your existing Sky hub to connect to the new ONTunit thst will be fitted when the full fibre line is run.

@Speedytriple apparently not for the lower speeds of full fibre.

@Speedytriple

New customers get the Max Hub, but existing Sky FTTC users moving to full fibre who already have a Sky Broadband Hub get to keep that unless they choose to add the WiFi Max subscription supplement.

Re: Received my new "Fibre setup"

I have requested 900mbps which seems to be the best they do. I'd perhaps expect it for that.

thanks.

Re: Received my new "Fibre setup"

I guess 25 year existing customers aren't as important as new. 😒

@Speedytriple there are pros and cons for new hub 6 while it has faster WiFi6 so can offer 900Mb/s overcWiFi while the okder hubs top out around 650Mb/s it is not compatable with Sky Q. The older hub4 you have is far more configurable than the hub 6 which is important for some customers

In practucal terms unless you really need 900Mb/s over wifi which in practice almost no one does other than to run sped tests its really not a great miss and if you do have Q boxes you are definitely better off with the hub4.

Re: Received my new "Fibre setup"

Apparently not. You get a nice new network cable.

We do have Q boxes though.

Thanks.
