Really high ping even with Ethernet
I'm still getting really high ping and lag on my ps5 even being connect with a LAN cable. Can anyone advise on what I can do to improve the connection ?

Is the ethernet direct to the hub or is it through some sort of booster/extender/powerline adapter?

I have it through a TP link. That is connected through my attic to hub. I know people that have this set up and have no issues at all. I spoke with SKY yesterday, there's some kind of issue with my hub or line because the outside optical cable is running fine.

It isnt a 'TP Link' as TP Link are a manufacturer, its powerline or home plugs. These devices rely on the quality of your electrical wiring so if thats poor or its a long run then you'll find it can be just as bad or worse then using WiFi.
