Really? 1 month to activate sky SR213

I contacted sky to activate my newly received sky Sr213 router.... Here was the completely [removed] response from "Joe" in customer services....

.... We've looked into the account for you about the Sky Max Hub. The account should update within a Month of you using the Sky max hub and show the details that you have got a Max Hub in use.

So it's takes 1 month to activate the phone line on my hub and make it appear on the mysky app? 

 

You must be kidding me. 

 

I have a friend on my housing site who had it activated the day they installed the fibre connection! 

 

I think sky do not realise some of us have been working in IT for 30+ years and know bullsh1t when we hear it. 

 

I've had 500mb fibre for 2 years and no idea why it takes so long to enable my phone line on a new router and make it available on the sky app. The sr203 works perfectly. Ideass

 

Any ideas?
