Ready to renew broadband

I'm ready to renew my broadband and I was offered super fast 80.

would I genuinely get the download speeds there saying I would get, as apparently I'm already getting the fastest speed I can get.

If you enter your full postal address below and post the table after removing your address from the image we will tell if that is the true speed

80Mbs is the fastest FTTC can go on a short, good quality copper line (essentially only within about three hundred metres of the fibre cabinet)

After that, in a line without additional issues, speed falls off on a very predictable curve, as below.

Note however that Superfast 80 (and even Superfast 35)  can also be delivered over FTTP where there's optical infrastructure available, and with that technology there's no decrease over distance.
