Re Sky Voice Calls via Fibre to the House - WiFi Hansets

Hi All,  2 questions please:

1. WiFi Handsets - do BT WiFi handsets work on Sky Hub Wifi?

and

2. Will a wireless standard phone base unit with 5 wireless handsets (eg Panasonic) work if the base unit is plugged into the UK phone socket of the Fibre to House Sky Hub with Superfast Broadband and Talk?

Dect phones with standard bt jack where the base station is plugged into the sky hub and the others scattered around the house will work

Sorry to ask but...If Phones and bas unit are not DECT - will it work then?

They do use around the same frequecy as the 2.4ghz wifi but it is solely for communication between the handsets so its effectively not the wifi as we would know . Ie they don't connect to the sky hub

@GD1 i believe you have panasonic dect phones. Do they operate around 2.4ghz

No, those are specific to BT Broadband with one of their Smart Hub 2 routers.

Thanks for your helps guys...I have a Panasonic KX-TG8424EM Base Station....no idea re the GHz unfortunately...can you shed any light if its DECT?

As I understand it, wireless walkabout phones with base stations may be DECT if they are the premium ones but the cheaper ones are not DECT.....I believe that DECT is a more refined specification.
