RED PON went green for 5 min now red again
Just had FTTP installed this week. Was working well but tonight it crashed out. The app says no problem but clearly there is.
it came back momentarily after trying the "get connected" function when it finally noticed a fault but the PON went red again shortly after.
checking service is useless because even if everything is turned off it doesn't find any fault.

@Andym12 the test shows the position when it last ran if you ran it again it would tell you the test failed as there is no contact with the hub.
If the ONT is still showing a red LOS light in the morning and the fibre cable is properly connected call Sky to report the fauly as it is likely the welded joint the engineer made in your CSP box has failed which can happen with some installations. This requires an engineer to come out to remake the joint.
