A sky engineer came to install my new broadband 15/12/22 all was going well until he said there was a problem with the line connecting the telephone pole to my house so the internet wouldn't work I had to leave to go on the school run whilst he was waiting for a call back from open reach. He then text saying there would be an open reach engineer coming Friday or today to diagnose the problem. No one has been 😩. I've been without Internet from the 27th November and I'm trying to do a uni course and barely have any data left on my phone 😭. I don't really know what response I want from this just very exasperated right now and not sure how long this will drag on for 😔.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreGive Sky a call and see if they've had an update from Openreach. Be aware Openreach don't usually work on domestic set ups at weekends.

Thank you @Daniel0210 I gave sky a ring yesterday as I hadn't heard anything and they said it could take 72 working hours for open reach to update. I guess I'm just super disappointed as I've been waiting weeks and with no actual appointment I'm just stressing. Thanks for your reply
