"I would kindly ask you to please contact your Internet Provider so they can separate frequencies to 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, and open the necessary ports for you. Those ports are TCP and UDP Ports: 45222 & 45223, 80, 5353, 5358, 5222, 5223, 5357, 3702, 443, 427, 8080, 209, 1900, 5298, 5350, 5351."

@Wallace10  You don;t need to call Sky to split the wifi bands if it's dual band router, this is best done with an ethernet conneceted device.

  • Type 192.168. 0.1 into your browser.
  • Select the WiFi tab.
  • Enter the login details that apply to your Sky Hub. ...
  • Scroll down and untick the 'Synchronise 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Settings' box.
  • To help identify the two WiFi bands, edit one of the SSID's to make it identifiable. ...
  • Select Apply.
Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
