Hello!
Apologies if this has been answered already - not quite sure on the search term to use!
If I'm thinking of leaving Sky BB due to the price increase, do I have to do anything different, or can I just take a new contract with a new provider? If it's OpenReach-based, then you can switch without contacting your exisiting ISP first, but I just wondered if that applies in this case? Don't want to be landed with early termination charges because I didn't call them first etc.
Thanks!

Posted by a Sky employeeIf you are no longer in your minimum term then yes, you are fine to just go to another provider

Still within minimum term but now have 30 days window to cancel due to price hikes. Do you think it's safer to call and say I'm leaving because of that and giving the notice manually, rather than via an automated switching process?

No i wouldn't cancel as that may leave you without broadband completely
