Unfortunately not. Where wbc fttp is available it will take priority over fttc vdsl and g.fast. its part of the move away from copper based broadband and a migration to fttp

@sorton1  Have you put in your order for Sky broadband to find out if the previous tenant still has a live connection at the property or has not completed their home move.

If someone has helped give them Like.

Typically an installer visit is required if the order is triggering a transition from copper (ADSL/FTTC/G.fast) to optical (FTTP) at the address.

If it's in the UK, putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which broadband provisioning type is applicable.

https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome

It's the table and the two text lines below it which are most useful.

Remove any personal information (such as the address itself) if you post an image.

Doesn't make any mention of existing ont. So likely the previous tenant had fttc and you would need to be present for the installation of the ont

@sorton1  The broadband package for FTTP over FTTC is cheaper and will make it easier for you to upgrade if you wish to higher speeds in the future. You will see this in the pricing for the different packages on

And the notes go on to indicate that it's specifically a fibre priority area.  As a residential MDU with 'no anticipated issues' you'd probably expect to see cabling already in place to the threshold of each dwelling unit.
