Broadband instal due 22nd March, heard nothing from Sky, no tracking, no hub. Is this normal.

The hub is only issued a few days before the activation date so if yours is due on Friday you will prob start to get notifications from Tuesday

@BrianWatson Have you setup and have access to your account, if so all the details will be in the message settings, which takes a couple of days to filter through.
Hubs are normally dispatched to arrive couple of days before your installation/activation day,
Normal process, would be e-mails etc, but you should have got conformation etc when you signed up.
Without you giving more details as to what you ordered its difficult to give more precise info.

Have received activation date from Sky and had message from Openreach confirming that they are doing the switch on same day. What else should I do? Have no email from Sky and I get nothing from ghe link they messaged me with. Have Sky app installed but joyhing appears on that either.

Have received activation date from Sky and had message from Openreach confirming that they are doing the switch on same day. What else should I do? Have no email from Sky and I get nothing from the link they messaged me with. Have Sky app installed but nothing appears on that either.

@BrianWatson More details, are you moving from your current isp to sky, are you recieving the self install package, are you purchasing SKY Max as your system, do you currently plug into a master socket, or have fttp full fibre, do you currently use a landline for phone, quick link below will give you some insite?

Moving from BT fibre to Sky. Going for ultrafast+. New property with everything read for router to plug in to.

@BrianWatson So in theory it should be a fairly smooth transition, OR engineer will do whats need to connect the fibre to sky, sky will send you e-mail your now activated, follow the link i sent you, and finally it can take upto midnight of that day to go live, so bear that in mind.

Yeah if the full fibre and Ont is already there then it should just be an activation on the day! So lucky!!

@BrianWatson If you did sign up for the Sky MAX system then there is all kinds of possible complications, the router FW upgrades, getting the app registered, so be pre-paired for slight delays getting everything connected, The max is way more complicated than standard broadband, and you have not mentioned
but search on the forum will help.
