Power to sky keeps tripping circuit switch. There were serious power outages several months ago in

The rooter made a very loud crackling sound when power outages of the main supply occurred. This happened several months ago. Is it damaged? Do I need a new one? I am now getting regular disruption in power to the sky circuit sometimes 7 minutes apart. Please advise

@Christina+Curtis Have you unplugged the power to the router, reset the breaker, and left the router off for longer than say 1hour, plugged it back in after that time, and if the breaker trips again?

May not be the router, but possible, you need to test the circuit first.

@Christina+Curtis power surges frequently kill routers so it is quite likely your hub or its power supply have been cooked. If so call Sky to get it swapped out they dont normally charge.customers when this happens.
