Poor wifi signal upstairs

Have wifi max, router in louge next to telephone socket. Booster in hallway, but signal to pc upstairs varies between reasonable and zero and additional sky box in bedroom loses signal sometimes too. Yet, your tests say strength to my house ok at 65mbps. Before recent upgrade, booster in kitchen worked ok upstairs.
