Poor wifi signal in small 2 bed house

We live in a small 2 bed cottage. Don't receive any WiFi signal upstairs whatsoever. Downstairs 15ft from hub it is weak. So weak a pop up spears on my laptop telling me signal is too weak for laptop to perform properly.

Upgraded to Sky broadband thinking it would be better but it's the worst broadband strength ever in the house.

Hi, it's Sky Broadband Hub.

Re: Poor wifi signal in small 2 bed house

@Kimmers1 Little bit concerning with the fact you have the SR203 sky Broadband hub, it's nornmally pretty good for the 30 foot mark especially on the 2.4Ghz band and around the 20' mark 5Ghz band, also it's been around since late 2019 and so it's also a well proven hub, but every home is different. The matching booster the SE210 is also very adaquate device but the down side is you are not going to get one off those from sky, but many third party booster's will work very well with that SR203 hub. Have attached both the Tp-Link and the Asus devices, long time connected with really no issues, but each may just need a slight tweak were as the SE will be good to go!

You can also consider powerline wifi devices, they work but don't expect massive speed with a up/down room arrangement!

Sky will push you wifi Max if you want to go that route with the additional addon charge!

Try going through this to see if it helps:

If not and if you have Wi-Fi Max on your account then Sky will supply up to 3 pods as you can read about here:
