Poor wifi in home office upstairs

Hi there. My partner and I both work from home. She works from home upstairs and she gets a lot of dropping out in teams meeting, esp if I am also on a call.. We have the 500 fibre service. The hub is in the living room. Is there a way to boost the WiFi upstairs? I've read about booster but not sure of the options. Many thanks!

Might be worth giving Sky a call to enquire about Sky WiFi Max. Details below:

Thanks! Looks like we already have Sky Max as part of the package. Wondering if worth trying some kind of extender?

Be aware that WiFi Max is a separate subscription service to the Sky Max Hub, I think currently £4pm. This should entitle you to 1-3 Pods to form a mesh system with the Hub, although you do seem to be required to jump through hoops to get more than one. Other options depend on what type of connection you need, WiFi or ethernet & in how many locations.

Simplest for a single ethernet  connection would be a powerline plug set, which uses your mains wiring to provide an etherent connection away from the Hub.

Next up would be the same thing, but with WiFi built into the device as well.

Ulimate solution would be a mesh system that would provide WiFi wherever you need it. This is the same as the Sky Pods but would form their own network rather than adding onto the Hubs. Typicically you'd turn WiFi off on the Hub & just use the WiFi on the mesh. Costs vary by features & number of nodes required. Advantage of your own kit is no ongoinf rental costs & a seemless move to another ISP in future.
