Poor broadband
I've just got a smart TV in my bedroom, we are in a bungalow and bedroom is just a few strides and 2 doors from the router but it's impossible to stream anything. I've tested my broadband and apparently it's fine. I'm going to moan to Sky but not expecting any help as I've been told before we have the best router. What type of booster is best, if any as this is just unacceptable

Re: Poor broadband
@Kay63 with WiFi signal strength depends on the density of what lies between the hub and the device and bungalows often have solid brick internal walls.. Streaming video requires both sufficent bandwidth say 25Mb/s for UHD or 10Mb/s for HD and a signal that is stable. Therefore you definitely sound to need a booster if simply moving the hub so it is on a surface above obstructions like radiators doesn't help
Sky sell an add-on called Sky WiFi Max see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max which can provide up to 3 extrnderscif required or you can buty one if the many 3rd party WiFi systems but if you dothat turn off the Sky hub's WiFi to avoid interference.
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode
