Poor broadband speed after "upgrading"
I renewed my broadband with sky last week, previous to this I was getting speeds of 50-60mbps on the package I was on
Now after upgrading to a new deal, and ment to be faster speeds I'm getting 3-10mbps on my phone via the speed test app, and this is the one I've always used, pages are loading slower etc, the sky app shows everything is fine and I'm getting the speeds to my router all ok (shock) should be 300mbps
What could of possibly of changed to get lower speeds now get upgrading my packing
Thanks

Re: Poor broadband speed after "upgrading"
@Jmk_84 You have went to a 300Mb/s package, have you had the FF installed to your home, that does just not happen overnight?
Engineer visit, new cable installed outside/ new ONT modem fitted inside and a new cable connection on the Hub!

Re: Poor broadband speed after "upgrading"
We already had the 100 installed, and was told it would just change to the newer one and we'd get the faster speeds, which we haven't,
Ive left it a week as I thought it may need to settle and stabilise

Re: Poor broadband speed after "upgrading"
@Jmk_84 It is a virtual switch so only takes a few day's, use the service checker, go to the broadband click right > and it will show you the last 30 day's you should see the jump from 100 to the 300 when and if it was applied.
