Poor Upload speeds in FF100

I've recently had Openreach FF100 installed but whereas the download speed is around the 100mbps, the upload speed is olny 18!

My impression was that FF was 'both ways'. In my area I have the option of moving to the FF provider "Community Fibre" which state they have the same download/upload speeds (even up to 1000Mbps!), so why is Openreach (SKY's) different ?

Unfortunately that's never been the case on domestic Openreach fibre service tiers.

Probably so that Openreach protects its lucrative 'leased line' market: it's the same for all Openreach ISPs.

Altnet full fibre-providers are laying their own infrastructure and don't have legacy business tiers to preserve, so they can offer symmetrical service as standard.
