I hope you had more luck than me. I also switched from BT and sky didn't bother to turn up at a booked appointment. I can't even get my phone to connect and we have the highest speed ( or we don't!)
My electrician moved mine from one room to the main living room, it's been better only lost connection3 times in 2 week where as before it was every single day,
Mine dropped or completely lost signal every single day, now I've had it moved by my local electrician and it's been much better only lost it 3 times in the last 2 week whereas before it was every single day
