Been with sky a month and everything was working fine till last weekend, Alexa's, ev charger, Hive all stopped working. Looking online it appears sky had issues, the app was down too.
Since then I can not connect for long, my wifi will say all good but it isn't, Hive, will not connect, nor will ring doorbell, I must have connected 5 Alexa's a couple of dozen times by now, they just keep disconnecting. My phone won't switch to wifi and I am having to sometimes jump onto a TP extender (even to type this) to get online as the hub since the sky outage has just not come back properly and is not fit for purpose. Only being with sky 6 weeks I was hoping for more as I had heard bad rumours and they ahead to be true and i can't seem to get much help, im in an automated circle when trying to contact someone... but tomorrow is another day. As this rate I'll go to the nearest pop up sky stand in a shopping centre and try and speak to someone there to get a number.
Are there more people in my position?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Jez9 you can easily find a number to call Sky if you have a phone plugged into the hub dial 150 for a free call otherwiseuse the contactvus links on the web pages or simply do a search but if you do that only use numbers starting 03. The forum software does nit allow posting of phone numbers.
Forum members can also help if you would like help please post what are the lights on your Sky Max hub showing see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/hub-lights-explained-start? That will tell you if the issue is with the broadband connection to your home. If the hub is connected and showing a white light it is likely to be a WiFi issue in your home. There has not been a recent major outage of Sky Broadband so it is not clear exactly what event you are referring to. Sky have 6 million broadband customers so inevitably some will have issues at any one time as even if 99.9% of customers lines are working there can be 60,000 that aren't.
When you talk about a "TP extender" what exactly do you mean? TP-Link make a wide range of kit including powerline.networking adapters which use mains wiring to carry data but also they make WiFi access points which can interfere with the Sky hub's wifi. Forum members have a lot of experience of sorting networking issues.

If you look at Metro news website it says there and this is when my issues started.

The light is white and things connect and then they drop. Looking at my home pod on some that has connected and discounted around 6 times during the night
