Poor Broadband upstairs speed

The minimum guaranteed broadband speed we were promised was 152 mbps however upstairs the speed is 12 mbps and the router will randomly turn off and come back on sporadically throughout the day

The speed to your router promised might be 152mbps, but WiFi is a different animal. No ISP can guarantee fast WiFi due to the limits of the ISP supplied router and environmental factors. The max hub may help improve your WiFi speeds but if not a third party solution (mesh or homeplugs will likely serve you better). 🙂

The turning on and off might be WiFi dropping out or if it's completely out it could be a line or router fault.
