Phone line damaged above our property

We have a damaged phone line where it travels down from the anchor attached to our house. We've had a Sky engineer out which couldn't touch anything outside the property, and apparently two Openreach Engineers who have taken a look somewhere along the line, but not on my property. No Openreach engineers have contacted us or knocked on the door to ask where the issue is, and we're starting to get fed up of trying to explain to advisors on the phone that they need to tell BT to come onto our property and speak to us to see what we need sorting. Is the only way I can get this sorted is by raising a complaint? The advisors we speak to seem to be foreign and don't have a clue what I'm trying to get across. They just tell me they've booked an engineer and we won't need to be home. Any other lines I can try on this matter? TIA

@LP3636

This is perhaps the one occasion you can contact Openreach directly.

Re: Phone line damaged above our property

I've gone through the link and reported it. Thanks.

I have a suspicion they might turn up and say I need to report it via Sky as its not really dangerous, as its out of the way and  above our porch. The back and forth is frustrating and we just want it fixed.

Important to note that 'BT' is an ISP, telco and mobile provider in competition with Sky.  Openreach Limited acts as the independent national monopoly network maintainer in this context, despite being a division of BT Group.
