Hi, I've just moved into my first house so knew nothing about broadband or Sky. I chose a Sky Max Hub broadband fibre 500 package. Not one did they offe me for an engineer to come round, they didn't check I had everything I needed.
Now, after waiting 2 weeks for activation, I've come to activate the broadband and the power cable is missing to the ONT you have to connect so google is saying I need to contact Sky to get an engineer round. I cannot find a phone number for a real person with sky ANYWHERE. It is absolutely awful. I'm not paying for wifi I can't use.
Does anyone have a phone number I can contact or know how to get an engineer to come round.
I am fed up already.

@Tia2749 These are the current methods for contacting Sky. (Depending on your reason for making contact some methods will be more appropriate than others) …
🔶📞 Customer Services by dialling 150 (free) from either a Sky mobile or your Sky Talk landline.
All calls will start automated which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.
Note: if your services are restricted due to a missed payment phone contact is unlikely to work.
🔶online help via this link
https://www.sky.com/help
If necessary a number may be visible at the end of the correct help flow.
🔶 Sky Assistant should also be available via
https://www.sky.com/help
for most service issues and gives you 24/7 help and a quick response. It should provide you with multiple choice options based on your problem and will provide troubleshooting steps to fix any service issues.
🔶Social Media You can also get in touch via the messaging services on: Facebook, Instagram, or X (links at the bottom of the forum page).
Note If you’re in the ROI make sure the flag in the bottom right of the link is showing the correct flag and change if required.
43" Glass TV & Puck Whole Home
Please note I only provide help on the main forums and not via PM, PM's are switched off.
Samsung 75" 4K TV, Sky Glass Gen 2 55", Sky Stream, EE FTTC Broadband, Three 5G Broadband (Backup), Sony 7.1 AV Receiver, Technisat MultiSat receiver.

Re: Paying for wifi but can’t use it
@Tia2749 Sorry that has happened, but your responsability for everything internal to the home, not Sky or OR, some previous owners take them for some reason, at least they had the sense to leave the ONT there!
