Paying 2 contracts sky and talk talk

I moved over from talk talk to sky broadband in August but,my partner is still being charged for talk talk when you have supposed to have cancelled it,this is resulting in both of us paying two bills,can you explain why

You are only talking to other Sky customers on here.

 

Has your partner spoken to Talk Talk as they should stop charging your services have transferred over to Sky. They will probably play the blame game and say that Sky did inform them that you are leaving but ultimately you need to be refunded for these charges.

See the parts of your post I've highlighted in bold text. Is whoever was the account holder with TalkTalk also the named account holder for Sky Broadband because you've mentioned more than one of you being charged?
