Outage in Hemel Hempstead area

So I have a text from Sky that all services are back uo and running (thanks for mycpatience etc.)

My Openreach box still has a red light om LOS indicating an external network issue. (Broadband still not working obviously)

Anybody else facing the same issue?

Re: Outage in Hemel Hempstead area

@Highlinder It is back up but the speed is really bad...

So the sequence of events is this ->

1) Until roughly thursday/friday (29/8, 30/8) speed is consistently reasonable (>25-30MBPS)

2) Saturday/Sunday/Monday (till 02/09) - It drops to be consistently under 1MBPS and unusable

3) 03/09 it is completely gone (Red light on LOS)

4) 04/09 it is back to being bad i.e. <1MPBS - similar to (2) above

I have a message from sky yesterday that things are back to normal yesterday (And broadband checker now says everything is green - although at under 1MBPS the internet is not usable)

So something has happened late last week that has severely affected the service...

Re: Outage in Hemel Hempstead area

Hi @cuke

Yes did a few times. Both the Openreach box and Hub but no joy. However... the Broadband checker now says there is an outage in the area again...and it's another couple of days to get things back to normal...
