I am trying to find a way to use my NETGEAR Orbi RBR750 to create a mesh wifi, without the need for the Sky hub, as wifi signal is poor off the Sky hub, and don't want to use the Orbi in AP mode.
Am I right in thinking I can connect it directly to the Openreach ONT without the need for the Sky hub?
I have seen I need to fill the DCHP option 61 box to anything@skydsl|anything and then disconnect the Orbi and ONT for 30 mins before connecting the Ethernet directly to the WAN port on the Orbi.
Is this correct, and anything else needed?

Works a treat! No drop outs and full coverage around the house with one less piece of electrical equipment using power
