Hi,
Been a sky customer for 9+ years, however recently whenever I download something on my PC (like a game or large file) the sky router VOIP orange light will come on and we will lose internet connection,
A reboot of the router will sort this for a few days and then repeat next time i download largish files again
Anything else works fine, browsing the web, netflix etc but large downloads will kill the router, WiFi etc.
Anybody had anything like this?
Had a sky engineer came out, spoke to some helpdesk, CNS or something and they said its my PC and I need to set a static IP and not use DHCP.. I work in IT and was surprised to hear this and played along anyway and tried it, low and behold he leaves I start a download same issue. so can imagine I am super happy with Sky at the moment......................
Any thoughts?
