There are Openreach engineers currently installing fibre to my street, they showed me the map and just my little bit isn't getting fibre - I suspect because Virgin has a box which supplies my neighbours.
i have tried to ask Sky - they can't help but Openreach says to contact my service provider who will contact them.
the engineers said Sky can get on to Openreach and ask them to do my house as well as they're already in the area.
the internet here is pretty bad and I can't wait for fibre any longer and as they're doing it everywhere else, why not me?
very sad day

Unfortunately that's not correct: ISPs like Sky can only place a wholesale order for broadband at a particular address if that location is already marked as being in reach of FTTP on the BT Wholesale database.
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

Re: Openreach installing fibre to my street but not to me
I followed your advice, thank you very much.
i did the check and we are not fibre priority, which is a shame.
i have managed to send a request to Openreach through your link.
i think you have been very helpful and I am grateful for the assistance.
i wish they would do it for me as well considering everyone else is getting FTTP.
let's hope they fulfill the request, fingers crossed
