Openreach do not have equipment in place for broadband order
Recently moved into a new property on a street where full fibre is available. I placed an order with Sky for Full Fibre 150 broadband however keep getting the update of ‘Openreach has informed us that they currently do not have the equipment in place to connect your Broadband and Talk to your phone exchange. They are looking for the best way to get you connected.’
Broadband was meant to go live on 28th March but no work has yet been done and I’m still getting the same useless update. How long am I expected to wait, I’m supposed to work from home but can’t as I have no WiFi. The BT broadband checker site shows this. Any help is massively appreciated.
Our records show the following FTTP network service information for these premises:-Single Dwelling Unit
Residential OH Feed potential Line of sight problems.
FTTP is available and a new ONT may be ordered.
For all ADSL and WBC Fibre to the Cabinet (VDSL or G.fast) services, the stable line rate will be determined during the first 10 days of service usage.
In order to be eligible for handback, downstream speed should be less than Downstream Handback Threshold values.
If you decide to place an order for a WBC fibre product, an appointment may be required for an engineer to visit the end user's premises to supply the service
ADSL, ADSL2+ and SOADSL availability: If shown at FTTP or SOGEA premises, ADSL, ADSL2+ and SOADSL are not available to order due to WLR Withdrawal stop sell rules. CPs should order FTTP or SOGEA.
Copper products are only available by exception.

Re: Openreach do not have equipment in place for broadband order
"Line of sight problems."
This may be due to overhanging branchs etc, etc that require branch lopping and cherrypicker. It could be up to another 4 weeks to secure whatever equipment is needed
