That's exactly what happened to me , it was the box that connect to the ONT was the problem

It has been a week and I'm without Wi-Fi in my new home. My husband works from home and he has been struggling to do that. Everyone keeps telling us that it is being resolved but nothing happens. Now what is the next step if you can't activate broadband. I need to know. When I call sky, they don't know anything and say they're waiting for an update from open reach!

Unfortunately there is no 'next step' (short of commissioning a service from an altnet provider) until the underlying cause of the issue is resolved by Openreach: that's the inevitable result of having a national monopoly supplier.

Having exactly the same problems,no Internet now for a month,keep ringing,but of course not getting anywhere,,sky saying Openreach haven't got the equipment to connect me but working on it and l will get updates in 3-5 days..I am now at the. State. Where l want to scream.,Considered going back to BT,unfortunately they were no better.Any advice??
