Only house on the Street not able to get Fibre?!

Hello All,

Today i have gone to renew my broadband package to see that i am still unable to get Fibre at my property.

For reference i live in a small street close to town.

Out of curiosity ive checked with multiple neighbours - Including the house attached to mine (semi detached) and every other house (79 in total) have fibre available except mine.

Ive checked openreach and it stated they have no plans to install however we are all connected to the same cabinet?

 

Has anyone else been able to resolve this? If there was a few houses that didnt i would be less sceptical but the fact every other house can and i cant seems strange?!

Could you complete this form and in the drop down tell us what your fibre enquiry is about select i cannot get fibre but my neighbours can

Thank you very much for the reply, I have searched the forum and saw an answer similar so i have filled in the form and recicved an automated response while openreach look into this.

 

Would you happen to know what usually happens next? Just so i am prepared for what I may need to do.

Openreach should reply in 2-4 weeks hopefully as to their plans for your own address. Hopeeully its good news
