One item is not getting good WiFi why can I not get a booster free for 1 room

I have sky gigifast with white sky max router but one Yvonne is weak so go buy sky want to charge extra 4£ a mth for a upgrade should I have to pay this for 1 booster

If not then you do have to have and pay for Wi-Fi Max on your account before Sky will supply up to 3 pods as you can read about here:

@Stevir If you do not have the sky Max package then yes, it is an addon monthly charge to get booster's and at £4 they have discounted you down from the £10 that they can charge! You may find relocating the Hub nearer will work and cover that weak signal area!

@Stevir No, so linked below all about the booster's you pay the extra for the potential then jump through all the hoops to get even the first one! Pay close attention to the speeds relative to the package that you have, and the last one not worth the toilet paper it is written on!

Sorry @Stevir just seen you have the Max Hub already so Yes the extra £4 / month should get you one out the door and on it's way to you from calling them, not sure you can do a Max addon online after the fact!

I can click up grade to sky max for £4 but have sky max hub if I proceed do you think this means they will post booster out thanks.

@Stevir Have never done so cannot say, the norm is wait the 14 days let the sky max hub settle in which it wont do, then call for a booster, sky CS test through your app how it looks, what speeds they observe and then decide do you get one or not, so just not sure what way it's going to go if you do it online, Think i would pesonally call, have the agent go through the hoops with you say yes you need it give them the £4/month and pretty sure that get's it out the door to you, 2nd/3rd ones if needed are all included but you need a sky Engineer in your home to see why and if you get.... To much wireless is just as bad as not enough, and mesh is not easy to work and keep working good....

I have 3 items meshed but it is all Asus AI mixed wireless/wired backhaul which has way more control to what needs to be done, and good thing 95% off the time it behaves itself very well, the other 5% is a pain in the posterior!
