Old sky box has faster commection, can i return the newer one without being charged?

So basically, moved house. I've had two sky routers and one main Q box for 2 weeks now but with setting up Internet I tried both.

With the newer one especially, I get horrible latency/lag issues gaming, it's gold enough for all other things though. The older one is noticeably better for gaming

Can I return the newer box instead of the old? Or will I still be charged if it is the incorrect one?

I am debating just keeping both sky routers in case, if anyone knows the charge fee would be very grateful so I can weigh it up

Thanks in advance

If you have been sent a new hub then Sky will be excepting you to return the older one so the charges can be seen here:

@Cbooth21 I would call Sky and explain the issue. If your old hub is black your Sky Q box acts as a wifi extender which it doesnt do when connected to the new white hub. Sky want customers to use the white hubs as they allow Sky to use IP address sharing which the older hubs dont but there have been reports of them allowing customers with Sky Q to continue with the black hubs.

If you bought the WiFi Max add on Sky will supply an extender which may sort the wifi issue.
