Hi, I switched over to the new Sky Max Hub with a booster before Christmas and are having performance issues. One of the things I've noticed is that the old WiFi network is still visible. I've used Airport Utilities to see signal strength and I think it's coming from both my Sky Q box and my old Sky Q booster.
How can I stop the old WiFi being published still? Thinking that may be causing some issues with the new WiFi network.
Thanks

Thanks very much for your swift response! I see, so it's normal ?
The sky Q black box is actually acting as a router?
Even though we have a new broadband connection with another provider?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@jimboi76 strictly its not a router it is acting as a WiFi access point broadcasting a closed 5GHz signal only other Sky Q boxes can use. Sky Q uses a rather odd wifi networking system which was designed to use matched routers. Sky did a cludge to allow the system to work with third party wifi routers.
