ONT lights not coming on
I've plugged in my sky hub (correctly I think?) and I have the power and WiFi lights coming on in green, but the internet light is non responsive. I also have no lights coming on on the ONT. I believe my troubles are due to there being an issue with the ONT? I'm trying my hardest to book an engineer to come and have a look at it but I can't seem to talk to someone long enough to sort this out due to my working hours. Any advice?

Re: ONT lights not coming on
If the ONT isn't powering up then it's impossible to be getting FTTP broadband.

Re: ONT lights not coming on
How can I fix this? Or is this an engineer's job?

Re: ONT lights not coming on
Realistically all you can do is check the socket has power by plugging in a different device: if that works then you'll need to log the problem with Sky.

Re: ONT lights not coming on
@Charlotte184 Have you checked the ONT on/off switch as some do have them! Nokia is on the LHS and Adtran is on the RHS both push button styled!

Re: ONT lights not coming on
I'm a bit of a novice with all this stuff so I apologise if I ask silly questions. But my ONT is just a box on the wall with a wire coming out into a smaller box that leads outside. When I moved in it didn't have anything else plugged into it. If that makes sense? Haha
Is this the correct set up or sm I missing something?

Re: ONT lights not coming on
Yes, it has a push on/off button on the side. I'm not sure which is the 'on', but being both pushed in and out seems to make no difference in the lack of green lights 😕

Re: ONT lights not coming on
@Charlotte184 The ONT will have three connections on it, a Fibre cable with a green coloured connection, a RJ45 Ethernet going to the Sky Hub wan connection, and the PSU 12V power connection cable going away to a mains socket close by!
