Well, so I was with another provider and was having problems with devices disconnecting and me having to restart them and also having to have 3 boosters plugged all over my house.
so back to sky I went, and had sky fibre ultra installed in my property by BT.
firstly my Boardband hubs have always been in my living room as the front off the house is where 80% of my devices are and never had a huge problem.
Now open reach can only install the fibre line to the back off the house which now means I have my sky hub in the back living room. Mmmmmm well whilst in the bedroom my signal is only 2 bars. So not at it's fullest.
So I phoned sky, and out came the Sky booster in the post.
"please do not put booster close to cabinets or hidden or down low .......... etc !!!!!
Every single plug socket (apart from kitchen) is just above skirting boards !!!!
And it isn't a big house. So I have furniture in most places and just standard eg sofas tv dryer ........ etc
so I placed the booster in my living room away from my sky hub and in the skirting board plug. (There is a small unit there but plenty of room around the booster).
Now the problem after all that above !!! lol
My mobile's, iPads, laptop plus others will connect to booster then switch to hub and back to booster all through the day. Not good when the signal goes while switching and I'm on a video call or anything to do with been connected.
And the sky mini box does the same, but if the main box is connected to hub and mini is connected to booster then it says my mini box isn't connected to my main box !!!!!
And also my mini box if disconnected will reset itself and I have to connect it to the hub again and it will log me out off all my apps on the box and have to sign into everything again !!!!!!
I didn't go back to sky for this to happen after my following provide was doing the same !!!!!
Anyone having or had these problem's ????
thankyou

If you find this happens with more than one provider it might be time to start looking for another solution. Clearly WiFi in your home is challenging whether that be because of the type/number of devices you have, the home itself or local surrounding WiFi conditions.

Re: OMG !!! 😡 My sky hub/booster and disconnecting
Solved for now !!!!! Have moved the booster upstairs and it's stopped device switching from one to another. Had to do some manoeuvring, but so far so good. But thankyou for your reply.
