Not achieving my Gigafast broadband since upgrading

Hi,

Can you check why I'm not achieving my Gigafast broadband since upgrading? I believe the install was poorly completed and I raised this issue multiple times with Sky but yet I am not able to get an engineer to check my broadband.

please respond Sky.

thanks Matt

@MatthewDe you are addressing Sky by posting in the forum which is primarily customer-to-customer.

You can simply test speeds yourself by running a speedtest on a device connected by a direct gigabit Ethernet cable and assuming nothing else is using bandwidth you should see 900Mb/s. Speeds measured over WiFi frequently only show the WiFi speed in your home however if you have the white Sky Max hub you should see similar speeds in thecsame room as the hub assuming your device supports WiFi6.

The way full fibre works it is very unlikely that there is an issue with speed due to the install as it either works or it doesn't. There is no loss of speed from the exchange to your ONT unlike the broadband over copper phone lines.
