No wifi connection after having new fast fibre fitted
I had fast fibre hub and socket fitted by open reach. It worked fine that evening. Sky suspended my account the next day and I paid my bill and arranged new direct debit, so my account was fine. Took a week to reinstate my account (after being told 3 different time different time frames). Once reinstated the internet connection still didn't work. Was told that the LAN light shouldn't be flickering and they said they'd send out a new hub and Ethernet cable. Hub arrived (including phone cables as standard which I didn't need), then another one in a separate parcel but no Ethernet. cable🙄 New hub didn't fix the problem, so I called again for the 6th time and was told the LAN light is supposed to flicker!! This gentleman couldn't fix my problem, we tried to reset the box etc and he confirmed what my service checker says, that my connection, speed and wifi are all connected and working. But, all our devices are not connecting? Obviously we have used the new password etc ignored network on phones etc. My fault has been 'escalated' and I am awaiting Openreach to contact me as we are all stumped. Anyone else had this, suggestions please!!
