Have you logged a fault with Sky?

 

I believe Eir has a similar domestic support target to Openreach in the UK, of a fault fix within two working days starting the next working day morning after a report by an ISP.

 

For same day fault investigation you'd need to be paying about five times as much on a business broadband product.
