Hello!
I was just curious if there was a reason I had no purple broadband cable delivered with my sky box?
There is already an open openreach box & a power unit in the property, but when I had a message informing me my WiFi was active, it was 'connected without internet' & I was curious if the lack of a broadband cable is the reason for this?

The purple cable is a dsl cable for fibre to the cabinet sounds like you have fibre to the premises which uses ethernet from the fibre optic modem to lan port 4 on the back of the sky router (marked wan))

Apologies, I'm no good with tech talk.
Does this mean I have to plug the sky box ethernet cable into the openreach box?

Kind of similar, unfortunately I'm at work so I can't get a photo.
I think it's an older model, it also has an additional power unit next to it on the wall.

Kinda like this where the smallerbox is a battery backup unit
Ethernet goes from one of,the ports on the larger box to the wan port on the sky hub.
