No power into Sky Max hub but its plugged in
my Max Hub has been plugged in and all working fine - but this morning it was knocked over and now even though plugged in (plug sockets checked with another appliance). Have tried pressing wps button bit still no lights on front of hub. Does the hub need replacinf?

I'd think so, yes. You'll need to call Sky.
